Superman finds a foe who may be too powerful even for him to defeat in the murderous Black Adam. However, Black Adam's real target is the World's Mightiest Mortal–Captain Marvel.Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam is an animated short film featuring Superman and Captain Marvel that was collected in a compilation titled DC Showcase Original Shorts Collection which was released on November 9, 2010. The compilation also includes expanded versions of the first three DC Showcase animated shorts: DC Showcase: The Spectre, DC Showcase: Jonah Hex, and DC Showcase: Green Arrow. The short is twenty-two minutes, giving it the longest run-time of any short in the series.
